Kisaruni Community Based Organization is a non–profit community-based organization rooted in Narok west, Kenya. The organization targets a population of over 200,000 people living in the vast county. It aims at providing holistic sustainable approaches for healthier communities. The projects running in the community include Healthcare, Education, Agriculture & food security, Capacity building, and Environment.

Nehemiah Kahato
He holds a bachelor of science in Health Systems Management and also a training background in medical laboratory sciences. Has over 12 years of experience working in healthcare institutions with NGOs, Faith-based organizations, and the Ministry of Health and Partners. Kahato has his strengths inclined to service delivery, inclusivity, and efficiency which are skills gained from his role as a hospital manager and technically while offering himself to service in his line of profession. He has ensured that communities have better access to quality services improving their quality of life.
Timothy Kiande
Timothy brings in his skills in Agri-business and sustainable entrepreneurial activities. He has been managing greenhouses, open farms, dairy cows, and poultry farms ensuring a stable supply of food for communities. He has supported different groups in the community in identifying a ready market for their products making it possible for families to meet their daily needs.
Transforming Lives
Non-communicable diseases are preventable with proper health interventions. The Organization has been mobilizing resources to support health related activities in Narok with over 5,000 patients benefiting from medical camps, community outreaches and school health programs.
The organization has provided linkage to care and treatment for patients requiring specialized care. From 2022 we have held 3 World Diabetes Day medical camps where over 50 patients have been referred for cataract surgery and retina care while 23 were newly diagnosed as Diabetic.
